Among the limited selection of quality dining options in Carlsbad, this restaurant stands out. We were warmly welcomed by the charming Christmas decorations at the entrance. Our party of seven was seated swiftly, and the food followed shortly after. The steak was truly outstanding, elevated by the unexpected yet delightful gravy. The meatloaf and shrimp were also noteworthy.

MILITARY DISCOUNT Yellow Brix is hands down the best breakfast spot in Carlsbad! The atmosphere is incredibly quaint and unique, featuring a charming Wizard of Oz-inspired double theme. It creates such a fun and whimsical vibe. The seating options are great—you can choose between cozy indoor seating or enjoy the fresh air outside. The drink options are also top-notch; their beer, wine, and mimosas are fantastic. The food is simply off the charts. The eggs Benedict and French toast are absolute must-tries—perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they made sure my coffee cup was always full. I also have to mention the ladies' restroom—it’s beautifully designed and an absolute treat to visit. If you're in Carlsbad, make sure to stop by Yellow Brix. You won’t be disappointed!

Great last minute find. Really great atmosphere.... Food was amazing we had the avocado toast and berries and cream crepes with an espresso martini. The waitress was absolutely amazing, fast friendly and even made a custom mocha for my friend

Recommended if visiting Carlsbad. Excellent food and service. Restaurant had a very nice vibe to it. It was definitely one of the best restaurants we ate during our road trip around new mexico during holidays. Loved the food which was perfectly cooked , hot and yummy. Even my child loved it who is usually a picky eater.

We love this restaurant! Whenever we visit Carlsbad it is not unusual that we eat here for more than one meal. The portions are not only filling, they are delicious. They serve brunch, lunch, and dinner and every item on the menu is great. We prefer to sit out in the patio when we dine here and love the relaxing outdoor atmosphere. The staff is always helpful and friendly, the food arrives quickly, and the price is reasonably affordable. It can be challenging to find a close parking spot when they are busy, but it’s not too extreme.

Very cute restaurant. Ate here in May 2024 and again today for Mothers day 2025. The food was delicious, large portions, and the staff is very attentive. Highly recommended. I had the Avocado toast, it came with 2 eggs, bacon and fresh young potatoes. I was full all day!! Husband had a sausage omlet, he enjoyed it. My mother had berry crepes, the presentation was beautiful, my mom loved every bite. Included blueberries, strawberries and a few raspberries. Our son had the chicken wings and waffle, he said it was OK. His GF had French toast and really liked it. Check out the ladie's room, it's HUGE and so pretty.

I had the Mediterranean Salad, and he had the Cajun something or other with bowtie pasta. Mine was nothing short of fabulous. His was good, and the bread was a wonderful toasting of butter and herbs, but the chicken in the dish was a lil dry, even with slathering it in the Cajun sauce. Atmosphere outdoors was beautiful with a light wrapped tree. Larissa was our waitress, and she was attentive and gracious, experienced in her trade and quick. Cool place. There is a stage outside, but we visited on a Wednesday in May, and no music was playing.

Our server was carla, she was phenomenal! The food was great, i had the mexican candy drink and one of their moscato white wines. The environment was very peaceful. Indoor and outdoor options. The food was out fairly fast and was constantly checked on. Nothing was over bearing. I was welcomed with open arms so to, my server had even noticed my purse was on the floor and offered a table holder for my purse. I was extremely impressed that she noticed such a small detail. Specifically for that she deserves a raise. The small things are egat make the big difference. The only down fall i did see was that the host could have been a bit more welcoming considering the position, not sure if it was because of the rush that came in about the same time or busy but that would be my only suggestion, everything else was amazing! Highly recommend and will be returning.
